1. Order Processing & Production Lead Times
Because GoodsAxis operates as a direct-to-factory sourcing and procurement partner, orders follow a structured timeline covering production and transit.
- Order Confirmation & Queueing: Production begins once your quote is confirmed, payment terms are settled per the agreed invoice, and your product specifications, branding, and any compliance requirements are approved in writing.
- Factory Lead Times: Manufacturing lead times typically range from 10 to 25 business days, depending on order volume, custom tooling, and the supplying factory’s current production schedule.
- Order Modifications: Once an order enters production, changes to the destination address, specifications, or a request to split a shipment are subject to approval and may affect cost or lead time.
2. Shipping Terms & Freight Options
Unless otherwise agreed in writing on your quote or invoice, shipping is arranged under the following general terms:
- Sample Air Freight: For small, reasonable evaluation sample requests, GoodsAxis covers express air freight. Typical delivery: 5–10 business days.
- Expedited Commercial Air Freight: Available on request for confirmed orders. The buyer is responsible for the freight cost and any customs duties. Typical delivery: 7–15 business days.
- Standard Bulk Freight: The default for commercial-volume orders, handled by sea/multimodal freight or your designated freight forwarder. Typical delivery: 25–50 business days.
Expedited Freight Requests: Orders ship via standard bulk freight unless express transport is requested in writing. Expedited freight cost is quoted separately or itemized on your invoice prior to dispatch.
Evaluation Samples: Complimentary sample freight is intended for reasonable evaluation quantities. Sample requests beyond that, or requiring custom tooling or branding, may incur product and freight charges.
3. Regulatory Compliance, Customs & Taxes
- Jurisdictional Compliance: You are responsible for confirming that ordered goods comply with the laws and regulations of your destination country, state/province, and locality.
- Duties & Taxes: Unless itemized in writing on your invoice, import duties, excise taxes, and local sales taxes are the buyer’s responsibility.
- Customs Holds: GoodsAxis is not liable for delays caused by customs holds, audits, or inspections at the port of entry.
4. Delivery, Inspection & Receiving
- Facility Readiness: Where applicable to the shipping method, your receiving facility should be able to safely offload freight (e.g. loading dock or forklift access).
- Delivery Exceptions: Note any visible carton damage or quantity discrepancy directly on the driver’s proof of delivery / waybill at the time of receipt.
5. Claims & Warranty
- Freight Damage or Shortages: Report within 7 business days of delivery, with photos and a signed proof of delivery.
- Functional or Manufacturing Defects: Report within 45 calendar days of delivery, with batch numbers and a description of the defect.
